This 90cm Oil Rubbed Bronze rod suits a number of Eglo ceiling fans (please check the accessories of the fan you are purchasing the rod for to make sure this rod is suitable). These rods are used to lower the ceiling fan to the required height if installing on higher than standard ceilings. Ceiling fans need to be at least 2.1m from the floor to the blades.
This extension rod is designed to replace the smaller rod included with the ceiling fan. The longer length will increase the ceiling-to-blade distance, perfect for higher ceilings.
Compatible ONLY with Eglo Tourbillion ceiling fans, but it excludes 100 inch fans. If unsure, please contact our friendly service team.
Please Note: Extension rods are used to lower fans installed on higher than average ceilings. Whilst there is no literal definition as to the exact height a fan should sit, the principle is the lower the fan the more you will benefit from its air movement.
