This extension rod will suit the Mercator Ikuu Minota DC ceiling fan range. This will suit the brushed chrome Minota range motor housings.
It can be used to lower the fan to the preferred height granted the floor to blade measurement is a minimum of 2.1m as specified by Australian regulations.
Please Note: Extension rods are used to lower fans installed on higher than average ceilings. Whilst there is no literal definition as to the exact height a fan should sit, the principle is the lower the fan the more you will benefit from its air movement.
