This is a highly efficient sub floor ventilation fan with a DC motor. It is a high quality product, designed to effectively remove subfloor damp and odours. The reliable German motor ensures the fan is suitable for continuous operation, although the fan can be purchased with a 24 hour timer (see accessory below) so you can specify operating hours.
This fan can be installed in the sub-floor brickwork or wall and replacement air holes placed into the opposite wall. It will exhaust air from the sub floor while replacement air will enter from the breather holes causing a cross flow ventilation pattern.
The fan is set to exhaust mode, if you want to use the fan to supply fresh air you can simply unscrew the plastic cover and mount the motor in reverse. Instructions on how to do this are included in the package.

This model utilises a DC motor, however it has an internal inverter and is therefore compatible with normal AC electrical systems. It cannot be connected directly to a DC power source.
