The light and exhaust each come with their own power sources, meaning that each function can be switched on individually.

Mercator Revoline Exhaust Fan with CCT LED – White

This fan seems to be a good unit. It was easy to install, with simple, clear instructions. The fan is strong and the light is diffuse, warm – on the 3000K setting – and quite but bright. The detachable fascia, including light unit, will make cleaning easy. The only minor gripe is that the internal power connector for the light is short and a bit fiddly to deal with while standing on a ladder.
