Installation
The kit is designed for DIY installation, with the fan able to be plugged into an existing power point in the roof space and controlled via a wall switch in the room. This type of setup is commonly found in bathrooms, toilets, and similar areas. Alternatively, an electrician can install a separate connection independent of the system installation.
How we calculate the required air volume
For effective ventilation, it is recommended to achieve 15 air changes per hour in spaces such as bathrooms, toilets, laundries, or similar areas. To calculate this, determine the room’s air volume (length × width × height in metres) and multiply the result by 15 to find the required fan capacity. This is suitable for most standard applications. However, for rooms with extensive glass, longer or hotter showers, or where minimal steam and moisture is preferred, we recommend selecting a fan with at least double the calculated capacity.
