The SAV2.5GB provides a ventilation option for subfloor spaces and other areas without easy access to mains power. This energy efficient model is completely solar powered, saving you money on running costs. The gabled design is constructed from 304 stainless steel, protecting the fan and its DC motor against corrosion. When this unit is installed vertically, the motor is protected from rainfall by the shape of the housing.

Important Notice: This fan requires direct sunlight to turn on. Shaded areas will result in the fan not operating fully.

The SAV2.5GB is a strong performer in terms of airflow. It extracts 450 m3/hr, recommending it to medium to large sized spaces. The unit is connected to an on/and off switch with a 350mm cable, making it easy to control the fan’s operation. This effective ventilator removes excess heat, moisture and pollutants from the air. For the best results, the manufacturer recommends installing the SAV2.5GB on a North facing wall, where the solar panel will receive the most sun exposure. Consider using the SAV2.5GB for:

As you add ducting to a fan it will impact the extraction rate as this introduces resistance.
