The name “Gaia” reflects Fanco’s dedication to sustainability and crafting products that are kinder to the Earth. This low profile hugger fan features FSC®100% Certified Timber blade and certified bio-based plastic not only ensure eco-friendly construction but also provide a warm, natural look free from any toxic coating or paint. It is suitable for installation in small to medium-sized rooms. It is supplied with a remote control and includes a timer (1 hour, 4 hours or 8 hours), light control, fan speed and reverse functionality.

Please note: Due to the natural variations in our FSC® Certified timber, each blade is unique. Therefore slight differences in colour and grain may occur, adding to the individual character of your fan.

In terms of performance, the Gaia is about as energy efficient as a ceiling fan gets. Consuming only 1 watt at the lowest speed reduces running costs. Based on 2024 prices in NSW, running the fan 24/7 for 4 months on low speed would cost less than $1. The fan has a great range of speeds, achieving close to 13,000 or m3/hr on top speed; this is considered high airflow for a 48-inch diameter fan. It’s a perfect all-rounder, with stand-out energy efficiency characteristics – even on speed 4, consuming only 9 watts.

2. Never take down your fan if there is a fault before contacting the warranty line. Most warranties are in-home therefore will only take effect on installed fans unless otherwise instructed.
