Installation
The kit is designed for DIY installation, and the fan can be plugged into an existing power point located in the roof space, typically connected to a wall switch in the room. This setup is commonly available in bathrooms, toilets, and similar areas. Alternatively, an electrician can install a dedicated power connection separate from the system installation if required.
How we calculate the required air volume
For effective ventilation, it’s recommended to achieve around 15 air changes per hour in spaces such as bathrooms, toilets, and laundries. To determine the required fan capacity, calculate the room’s volume (length × width × height, in metres) and multiply the result by 15. This will provide a suitable airflow rate for most situations. We recommend that clients with large glass areas, those who take longer, hotter showers, or prefer minimal steam and moisture, choose a fan with double or more the recommended capacity.
