Installation
This kit is specifically designed for “do it yourself” installation, allowing you to set it up with ease. The fan simply plugs into an existing power point in the roof space, typically connected to a wall switch in the room. These are commonly found in bathrooms, toilets, and similar areas, or a qualified electrician can install a power point if needed.
How we calculate the required air volume
For good ventilation, it is recommended to achieve 15 air changes per hour in bathrooms, toilets, laundries, and similar spaces. To calculate this, determine the room’s volume (length × width × height in metres) and multiply the result by 15 to identify the required fan capacity. This will be suitable for most applications. For areas with higher moisture levels, such as rooms with extensive glass, longer or hotter showers, or where minimal steam is preferred, we recommend selecting a fan with double or greater the calculated capacity.
