Installation
The kit is designed for DIY installation and can be plugged into an existing power point located in the roof space, usually controlled by a wall switch in the room. It is commonly used in bathrooms, toilets, and similar areas, although an electrician can also handle the power connection if required.
How we calculate the required air volume
For effective ventilation, it is recommended to achieve approximately 15 air changes per hour in areas such as bathrooms, toilets, and laundries. To calculate the required fan capacity, measure the room’s volume (length × width × height in metres) and multiply by 15. This will give a suitable airflow rate for most applications. For spaces with large glass surfaces, longer or hotter showers, or where minimal steam is preferred, we recommend selecting a fan with at least double the calculated capacity.
